Previously certified QPR Gatekeepers were enrolled in online QPR Gatekeeper Recertification Training that included a survey asking whether participants had used their QPR Gatekeeper skills since their initial training.

This follow-up allows QPR to measure real-world impact — not just knowledge gained, but lives touched.

Please note: Respondents had been trained as QPR Gatekeepers within the previous two years. Depending on their profession, many report identifying multiple people in crisis. This data was not collected for scientific research purposes and is anonymous. Our interest is to gain insight into how frequently QPR-trained gatekeepers identify people at risk, initiate a possible life-saving intervention, make a referral, and how those referrals are handled.

The QPR Institute would be interested in assisting, consulting, and supporting an RCT to further study these findings.
